Affected by the decline in raw material benzene prices and the resumption of production at phenol-acetone plants in Shanghai, the acetone market has experienced a certain degree of retreat. Currently, port inventories remain at around 30,000 tonnes. Downstream acetone products have been mostly weak, hovering near the breakeven point, leading to a lack of enthusiasm for receiving goods.

With the return of supply, it is expected that acetone prices will remain stagnant and consolidate in the short term. Maintaining a reasonable inventory level, in conjunction with inventory levels and downstream orders, is recommended.
